Chapter 3. Case study – Agnes Nsofwa AGNES – Australian Sickle Cell Advocacy Today

In this chapter, we meet Agnes Nsofwa, whose daughter was born with Sickle Cell disease. This diagnosis prompted Agnes to return to University to undertake a Masters in Nursing, and she opened a Facebook page so she could start advocating effectively for people with Sickle Cell Disease.
